FINAL JUDGMENT On September 29, 2023, a jury returned a verdict in this case. Before the jury began deliberations, the court granted DPCC judgment as a matter of law on its claim that DPCC's New Design Bee Trap did not infringe Blazer's '421 patent. The court also granted Blazer's motion to dismiss his claim that DPCC's '611 patent was invalid. In consideration of the jury's verdict and the court's rulings, the court rules as stated within. Post-trial motions, briefs on how the court should account for the jury's willfulness findings, and any requests for further equitable relief are due on or before October 27, 2023. Costs taxed against Blazer. The court DIRECTS the Clerk of Court to close this case. Signed by Judge Corey L. Maze on 9/29/2023. (SRD, ) (Entered: 09/29/2023)
