MINUTE ORDER [In Chambers] Order Advising Parties of Intent to Appoint Special Master by Judge Andre Birotte Jr.: The Court finds that, the limited expense of an efficient master imposed on the parties is far outweighed by the cost savings to the parties that will result from streamlining future disputes and reducing the need for protracted litigation. The appointment will assist with the expeditious resolution of the case, as opposed to causing any delay. "Before appointing a master, the Court must give the parties notice and an opportunity to be heard." Fed. R. Civ. P. 53(b)(1). Accordingly, in addition to the preliminary views shared at the scheduling conference, the Court shares its detailed views in this Order and provides that, within seven days of receipt of this order, any party may FILE a statement concerning the Court's intention to appoint a special master, not to exceed 3 pages, sharing any views that party wishes the Court to consider.
