08/15/24	Vilox Technologies LLC v. Oracle Corp 1:23-CV-00302 ( D. DE )	ORAL ORDER - On July 27, 2023, the Court held a motion to dismiss hearing during which a discussion took place about a patent assignment assigning the patent-in-suit from the Vilox entities to Dr. DeBellis. Oracle stated that it "would like the opportunity to take [ ] discovery both from Dr. DeBellis and from Vilox to assess what rights remain with Vilox, what rights may have been transferred." (D.I. 75 4:19-22). Thereafter, on October 11, 2023, in response to Vilox Technologies LLC's repeated failure to obtain local counsel, the Court issued an 74 Oral Order instructing that if Vilox Technologies, LLC did not get local counsel by October 18, 2023, it would be dismissed from the case. Unsure of the status of the patent assignment discovery and Oracle's position on Vilox Technologies LLC's dismissal from the case, the Court has not yet dismissed Vilox Technologies LLC. THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that, no later than 8/22/2024, the parties shall file a status report that sets forth the status of the patent assignment discovery and that states the parties' positions on whether Vilox Technologies LLC should remain in the case.
