PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon Plaintiffs Tikiz Franchising, LLC and Tikiz Enterprises, LLC's (collectively, "Tikiz") Expedited Motion for, and Memorandum in Support of, Leave to Exceed the Page Limit under Local Rule 7.1(c)(2). 72 . Therein, Tikiz requests leave to exceed the page limit under Local Rule 7.1(c)(2) for a total of thirty (30) pages to file a single brief for its motion and memorandum for its renewed judgment as a matter of law under Fed. R. Civ. P. 50(b), or in the alternative, for new trial under Fed. R. Civ. P. 59. Id. at 1. Tikiz contends that a total of thirty (30) pages is necessary "due to the complex legal and factual nature of both reasonable royalty and willfulness," as well as the "lengthy" trial transcript record. UPON CONSIDERATION of the Motion, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Motion 72 is GRANTED IN PART. Tikiz's motion and memorandum for its renewed judgment as a matter of law under Fed. R. Civ. P. 50(b), or in the alternative, for new trial under Fed. R. Civ. P. 59 shall not exceed twenty-five (25) double-spaced pages. Signed by Judge K. Michael Moore on 7/23/2024. (mh02) (Entered: 07/23/2024)
