On 1/17/2023, the Court ordered Plaintiff CHUANQI LIU to file, on or before 2/17/2023, a motion for default judgment against the following defendants, against whom the Clerk entered default on 8/25/2022: ACCOT, DAOZX, EBIKELING, FANCYES, FOUJOY, GAODINGD, IPOW, LAUS, MONDAY, NEUFLY, NONBRAND, NOVASHION, SGODDE, SIHMQIK, WUSUOWEI, YQ&TL. The next day, however, counsel for Mr. LIU, Patricia Ray, Esq., moved to withdraw. ECF No. 37. The Court denied that motion without prejudice, ECF No. 38, but on 2/9/2023 granted a renewed motion to withdraw that Ms. Ray filed on 2/8/2023, ECF Nos. 42, 43. In doing so, the Court ordered Mr. LIU to file a notice of appearance from a new attorney on or before 3/29/2023 or the Court would presume that Mr. LIU intended to proceed pro se. Id. In the same Order, the Court stayed the deadline to file a motion for default judgment pending further court order. Id. Because Mr. LIU has not filed a notice of appearance of counsel and the 3/29/2023 deadline has passed, the Court presumes that he is proceeding pro se. Accordingly, it is HEREBY ORDERED that Mr. LIU shall immediately notify the Court of any address change so that he receives any case-related correspondence. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, in light of Ms. Ray's withdrawal, the 2/10/2023 deadline for Plaintiff to file a motion for default judgment, see ECF No. 36, is stayed pending further order of this Court. Finally, IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Ms. Ray shall ensure that Plaintiff receives a copy of this Order and shall file a notice indicating her compliance on or before 2/15/2023.
