MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS by Judge Mark C. Scarsi: ORDER RE: PLAINTIFF'S DECLARATION RE: SERVICE OF PROCESS 16 . On July 7, 2023, Plaintiff submitted a declaration from its counsel averring that it submitted appropriate documents to the International Legal Cooperation Center for service under the Hague Service Convention. Counsel submits that "the estimated wait time for service through the ILCC is currently one to two years." Plaintiff requests that the Court extend the deadline to complete service abroad by six months. The Court considers the request notwithstanding Plaintiff's failure to comply with court rules governing such requests. Good cause appearing, the request is granted. Plaintiff shall complete service of Defendant by January 17, 2024. Failure to complete and file proof of service by this deadline will result in dismissal of Plaintiff's claims without prejudice under Federal Rule of Procedure 41 (b). For case administration purposes only, the Court directs the Clerk to remove the case from the Courts active caseload until further application by the parties or order of this Court. (Made JS-6.
